How the clock runs

The 30 days count from delivery, not from the order date, and the return starts on the retailer's order page, not here. A prepaid label appears for most apparel returns; drop-off options depend on your zip code.

Before the label prints: five checks

• Tags attached. A hoodie with the hang tag cut off is a keep, not a return.
• Unworn and unwashed. One cold cycle voids the window on most listings.
• No deodorant, perfume or pet hair. Trying things on over a thin base layer solves all three at once.
• Liner still in place on tube tops, bodysuits and anything close to skin. These get the strictest inspection.
• Sets stay sets. A two-piece sweatsuit goes back as two pieces in one package.

Money coming back

Refunds land on the original payment method, usually 3 to 7 business days after the warehouse scans the box in. The scan is the trigger, not the drop-off, so allow for the return transit too.

Need a different size, not a refund?

Return the wrong size and place a fresh order for the right one. It sounds slower and is actually faster: retailer exchanges route through the same warehouse queue twice.
